Admiral Radley and The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit play in a barn

Admiral Radley and The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit played in a barn in Escalon, a town just outside of Modesto, CA. What do the two bands have in common you say? They share the same drummer, who happens to also have been the drummer from Grandaddy. Admiral Radley is a band formed of former Grandaddy members Jason Lytle and Aaron Burtch and the band Earlimart.

Admiral Radley came on first and I was stunned that the sound coming out of the barn was just perfect. As one attendee told me: "Music just wants to get out you know." After the band change, I had no idea what to expect, but The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit put on a killer show, getting people out of their seat and onto the dance floor (myself included). It was the first non-contrived hoedown I've ever attended and it was a lot of fun. I recommend seeing both bands if you get the chance.
